Found objects and single-used objects are seen out of their normal context throughout this show. This chaotic placement of objects raises questions and encourages people to investigate more deeply. For instance, straws and chewed gums are placed on the wall while new/non-used gums are located on the floor. By placing the found objects on the wall, it seems like Jardine has elevated the status of the objects to the level of art. There is a narrow wooden wall shelf that exhibits visitors’ chewed gums. This kind of depiction is reminiscent of displaying art pieces on shelves and pedestals in the galleries or museums.
